if i use an unlocked smartphone not sold by Cingular will I end up getting hit with a data plan automatically?
I bought an unlocked LG Cookie. It doesn't have 3g or Wifi, but it is classified as a smartphone. I currently don't have a data a plan, and don't want one. If I use this phone will they automatically put it on my account?
Sprint improves, but still sees losses
Sprint lost 578,000 postpaid customers who are on a contract and pay monthly bills. This beat expectations, as analysts had expected the company to lose about 623,500 customers, according to Reuters. A year ago, Sprint lost 1.25 million postpaid customers.
The company's net customer loss, including prepaid customers, was 75,000. A year ago, Sprint lost 182,000 total customers.

Nokia had a potential good opportunity with this device but overall screwed it up big time.
The screen is very frustrating for previous iPhone users and I would say anybody that is used to a capacitive screen. The size said to be 3.5” is actually quite smaller than the iPhone one. Maybe inches in Finland are not the same as in US. The colors are also just so so. Last but not least the touch behavior is very erroneous: just try to swipe in a list of items (like emails for example) and you will see that you accidentally click without doing it. Soooo frustrating.
